“Hiya!” A scream echoed through the streets of Konoha. Sasuke was the first to react as he swung his arm back making contact with something hard and warm slamming the figure to the ground. “Fail!” Naruto laughed jokingly. “Come on!” Naruto smiled at the brown haired man, slightly younger than himself wearing a green vest with a black long sleeved shirt under it. Dark navy pants with a gauze wrapped around his thigh.
“Geez Konohamaru” Sasuke sighed as he got off of him, pulling the younger Jonin to his feet. “That had nothing to do with you Naruto it was all Sasuke! So unfair!” Naruto pulled on his eyelid sticking his tongue out. “Your nothing without them!” “Try me!” Naruto said. “Okay come on, let's battle it out if I win I get Kurama and Sasuke!” “Not gonna happen” “What are you scared huh??!!” Konohamaru yelled. “Of course I am, you're my student after all” Naruto yelled. Konohamaru smiled happily, “Come on you runt” Naruto said as he gave Konohamaru a noogie walking past him.
“Come on we're heading to the Hokage mansion, you coming” Sasuke asked wrapping his arm around Konohamaru's neck. “Whoa!” Naruto said pulling Sasuke away as he hugged his arm. “My Sasuke, not yours, mine!” Naruto yelled hugging Sasuke's arm. “Come on Naru-chan~~~ give me Sasuke and Kurama” “What did you call me!” Naruto yelled pushing past Sasuke.
“Oi” Sasuke yelled as he grabbed Naruto around his neck, holding him back. “Sasuke and Kurama are mine!” “Fine then just one? I'm fine with just one of them!” “No!” “Come on of those two who would you give up first if you had to?” “Neither!” “Fine then I swear to Ramen I will take one of them from you” “Now that's too far!” Naruto yelled.
Sasuke tightened his grip on Naruto, “Come on we gotta get to the Hokage mansion” Sasuke said trying to drag Naruto away. “Not unless he takes back what he said about Ramen!” Naruto said trying to fight past Sasuke. “Sayonara” Konohamaru said giving a small salute and jumping away. “He can be so annoying” Naruto said breaking from Sasuke's grip. He turned around, walking towards the Hokage's mansion. “Well he learned from the best” Sasuke said jokingly. “Excuse me!” Naruto yelled at Sasuke. Sasuke laughed, Naruto turned away immediately. He felt his heartbeat increase, his face turn red, even after four years Sasuke's smile made his entire body hot.
“About time Naruto” Naruto turned looking at his two advisers, Hatake Kakashi and old lady Tsunade. “Yeah, yeah Tsunade” Naruto sighed. “Aren't I supposed to be the late one?” Kakashi asked. “Sadly enough a trait that you out-grew but passed on to the Hokage” “Sakura!” Naruto yelled jumping behind Sasuke terrified. “Hello Sasuke-kun <3” Sakura smiled. “No” Sasuke simply said. “Naruto! Why are you late this time!” Sakura yelled. Sasuke looked at Naruto, “It was my fault, I forgot to wake up Naruto-sama. Don't forget who signs your paycheck Sakura. Naruto-sama is our superior, show more respect” While speaking Sasuke led Naruto to the Hokage seat. Naruto sat down, “Sasuke I love you!” Naruto yelled happily. Sasuke gave a small smirk, but stayed relatively emotionless.
“Whatever, here Hokage-sama” Sakura said lying her report on the table. Naruto grabbed it looking through the report, “Everything went as expected but we ran into some trouble” Naruto looked at the report staring up at her, “I see thank you, we plan to deal with 'that' very soon” Naruto said rather menacingly. “What's wrong?” Sasuke asked. Naruto smiled at him, “It's nothing”
“Sakura be more subtle please, also you're late Hokage-sama” Naruto looked behind Sakura, “Look who's talking Shikamaru” Naruto yelled as Shikamaru entered the door. “Oh Shikamaru, I wanted to ask you something. What's better Doujinshi or Fanfiction!?” Sakura asked. “What? Why are you asking me?” Shikamaru asked. “Lee told me that you would be the best person to ask” “I prefer Fanfictions but that's just because I find Doujinshi to be more like picture books. Are you writing another BL story” “Yeah” She said. “Well now that you mention it, I prefer everything but your works” Shikamaru said slumping onto the couch. “What?! Why?! I'm a bestselling BL author!” “I know but Temari is still pissed at me for your Choji and Shikamaru Doujinshi. Tenten isn't any happier at Choji either” “But Sai and Lee both loved it, they also like my new idea two. It's a SasuNaru story, I still can't decide if it should be a Fanfiction or Doujinshi”
“I think it depends more on the story you're trying to write, the reader's you're trying to reach and also it depends on the kind of person is writing it, you may be an amazing artist but a horrible writer” Sasuke said. “Not you two! Don't encourage her Sasuke” Naruto yelled. Everyone started laughing at Naruto's fit, he fell back embarrassed but still smiled, this life was perfect, everything was so peaceful. This was the Utopia he had been fighting for his entire life.
“Why did we have to leave” Sasuke asked Sakura as they stood outside the closed Hokage's door. “I don't know, maybe they have to talk about something really serious. I mean it's not very common you get the Hokage, the Hokage's advisers and the Jonin commander all meet up” “I understand that but I'm the Hokage's guard what's so important that I can't hear it” Sakura shrugged.
“Naruto! Are you crazy, don't you dare!” Tsunade's voice echoed through the Hokage mansion. “Enough” Naruto's voice yelled back. His voice was serious and strong, the following hours were silent in the halls. The yelling stopped, the halls remained silent as a lone raven stood next to the Hokage's door. Finally the Jonin commander, the two advisers and the Hokage all left.
“Sasuke I told you, you could go home” Naruto said startled by the raven. “Now what kind of guard would that make me” “It's almost one we've been in there for almost three and a half hours, were you waiting for that entire time Sasuke?” “Of course” Sasuke smiled. Naruto grabbed Sasuke's hand his entire body flushing red, “T-thank you” Sasuke gave a small laugh grabbing Naruto's chin and pulling him into a kiss.
“Teme” Naruto whispered grabbing Sasuke's hand tighter. “I love you two” Sasuke whispered into Naruto's ear. “Teme” Naruto whispered again. “Come on let's get some ramen” Sasuke smiled pulling at Naruto's arm. “Can we?” “Come on” Sasuke said giving Naruto's arm a slight jerk.
The next morning Sasuke woke up yawning as he happily stretched refreshed. “Naruto?” Sasuke called noticing the blonde was no longer sitting next to him. He looked at a small square paper on the nightstand, 'Something urgent came up and I had to head to Sunagakure. Garra needs some help with his treaty with Iwagakure. Love you and I'll be back soon. For the time being you are a paid vacation! Have fun. -Naruto' He stared at the paper. Something wasn't right, Sunagakure and Iwagakure were on bad terms but not to the point Naruto needed to intervene. A just disliked the fact Garra was so young. That afternoon Sasuke searched the entire village for Shikamaru, the note made no sense.
“Shikamaru what's going on!? Something isn't right!” Sasuke yelled as he found the Jonin in the back exit of the town of Konoha at his side the Hyuga clan leader, Hinata Hyuga and the best medical ninja in Konoha, Sakura. In front of them stood a small legion of Anbu. “Ah Sasuke just some exercises” Shikamaru said. “Then why is Naruto in Sunagakure?” “Um, helping Garra” Shikamaru said. “With what” “Um,uh” Shikamaru stuttered. “We've been caught. Orochimaru's hideout was found recently and since he always seems to be one step ahead of us Naruto went after him as we assembled a capable Anbu squad to face Orochimaru as Naruto stalls him” “Hinata!” Sakura yelled. “What we were caught” Hinata shrugged. “Naruto went after the Orochimaru, the S-ranked missing nin. One of the legendary sannin?!” “Yup” Hinata simply said.
